JCC publishes articles on large scale information exchange for social issues. The journal focuses on the development and maintenance of information-infrastructures for chain wide co-operation of independent organizations and professionals in a specific social sector, e.g. criminal law enforcement, health care, identity management or education. This chain co-operation surpasses the complexities and problems of logistic chains and confronts us with the challenges of safe and reliable communication of critical and often confidential data at a national or international scale. Many big information projects fail or produce poor and unreliable results.
